JoyfulNoise Thanksgiving
Anna’s JoyfulNoise class had a special Thanksgiving dinner last week. Depending on where the kid’s last names fell alphabetically, each of the 30 kids enrolled there dressed as either Pilgrims or Indians. As you can see Anna was a Pilgrim. As were all of her classmates, actually. They were so cute. Her teacher made the cute “bibs” and “hats” for all of them, though Anna’s hat didn’t really stay on all that well. But she really looked adorable. The meal was great homecookin’ made by some ladies at the church, however, Anna didn’t get to enjoy the first course. Well, I did let her eat the cheese covered celery, but I still can’t bring myself to let her eat strawberries; and the first course was Strawberry Jello and another pink, fruity cream cheese salad, that didn’t taste like cherries to me, so I didn’t allow either of us to
eat it. (She hopefully takes after her daddy and doesn’t have to mess with having to know what flavor “pink” things are, but she also may have a different reaction to the food than I do. Thus, I’d like to wait until she can TELL me how she’s feeling… is her throat closing, does she feel woozy, is her skin getting itchy…)
Last year at this time Anna was about 3 1/2 months old, so the only Turkey meal she enjoyed was via my milk. So I guess you can say she really liked her first Thanksgiving meal!

adorable!
